Prof. Kimerling and Dr. Saini will provide a deep-dive exploration of materials and waveguides.  This course will be released in Q4 2020.

PIC Sensors

PIC Sensors is a six-week asynchronous course. Dr. Agarwal and Prof. Hu will discuss the basics of photonic sensing, and draw on lectures from several PIC sensor experts around the world.  This course will be released in December.

PIC Passive 

PIC Passive is also scheduled for a December release and is a four-week asynchronous course that Prof. Hu will lead that will cover topics from fiberoptic coupling to a chip, to testing a passive photonic integrated circuit (PIC).

PIC2

PIC2 is an intense six-week, design-based, a synchronous course that will cover a wide range of topics, including essential fundamentals to lead students from light transmission through a straight waveguide, a bend, and a ring resonator.
